Is it a lu? Have you ever figured your converter slip % I'm getting around 7% slip, and I think I'm close to my MPH limit for the 1/4. I'm running stock heads and cam though. I'm around 118 MPH. I'll find out for sure this spring.
Sweet! I know Sweet6 went 124 MPH on 26" tires. He was running a multi disc lu. With my old 6152 I hit 119, but couldn't 60' it. I'm thinking I can get in the 10's this spring. End of Summer last year I was getting consistent 1.48 60' times off the foot brake. Since then I've added lower control arms with relocation brackets, and sub frame connectors. Hopefully I didn't disturb the geometry, and it slows it down. I was running super rich with only 18° timing. Around 26-27 psi. 11.2@117.6Dave, I have gone 11.18 @ 119 on 255/50-16's (26") locked the converter around 95-100 (~1/8 mile mark) w/1.53 60' and 11.23 @ 124 on 295/55-15's (28") w/1.48 60' but forgot to lock the converter all with stock rear/gears, stock heads and cam...GT67763 with 3600 9/11 locking converter. I'm running 24-26psi and leave off the trans brake at 12-16 psi.
