I got my new 1.6 Ratio rollers installed today on my comp 206 roller motor on my Riviera.
I got low vacuum, 11 -12 HG idle in park, 10 HG in drive at idle. I had 16 or so before the change over on the stock rocker arms, before i blew the head gasket and installed a thicker one and fell short on preload, THAT why i thought the adj rockers would be the magic bullet, maybe so when they get adjusted right!
Plus , very $hitty driveability , like a spark miss, BUT IT PULLS like hect mid to WOT up top.
I THINK I GOT EXCESSIVE PRELOAD , from what i read on the net, all of my symptoms are right on, even the backfire.
I have an appointment next week to get them re-adusted,
ANY ADVICE???
