Freshly done by Chopper at Limit Engineering, TA-62 all new wheels on a fresh complete rebuild, Garrett .62A/R turbine, wastegate 1.125" and perfectly blended, includes actuator, ran it less that 6 hrs and maybe 100 miles, basically brand new. Bottom line $650 shipped. DSC01985.jpgDSC01986.jpgDSC01987.jpg

This a journal bearing unit or ball bearing? Also the exhaust wheel have a .63ar? Also how big is the exhaust wheel?

THanks,

Scott

It's a journal bearing, to answer the rest of your questions it would be best to referance a turbo comparison chart.
Thanks
Byron

Looking it up the ta62 can come in different configurations.. 62/62 .63ar or .85ar or 62/65 still listed on places are ta62 again both with .63 or .85ar.. Either way it is a JB, GLWS..

A limit 62 should be a 61 with a p-trim exhaust wheel.

May I ask why you only ran it for 100 miles and now your selling it? Will this work with a stock convertor? Is it still available

Yes, it's still avaible. I had Limit upgrade a TA-49 into this TA-62. It worked fine with my 2800 stall, I just wasen't interested in getting up on the stall every time on the street to make things happen. I favor being able to get into power just off idle without having to get up' on a stall converter. Ended up going to a TA-60(same exhaust wheels as TA-49) and am very happy with it.
Thanks

Will this work on a hot air car. If so how much of an upgrade would it be from a stock hot air turbo.
