Why would you want to do that? The split in the middle helps with mounting them. Depending on whether you are using any gaskets on your headers it will affect the placement of the collectors. With the split you can adjust the crossover to fit in perfectly. Mine sits a bit close to the oil pan but Im using two stock headers w/ felpro1400's with their crossover pipe. Also any muffler shop could weld them together for about $25-$40.00
