Wondering how much aggravation is involved with engine in car. Fwiw , turbo is off.. steering shaft and crossover off too. Also, the OEM stud/bolts have been off a few times.

It's not bad if you have a lift . Never done it with out ...anyone else ??

I removed my stockers, welded them up, wrapped them and reinstalled them with just the front up on jack stands.
I did the same with ATR headers as well, but that was in the early ’90’s.
I remember taking the alternator and other brackets off from the top and maybe the top row of bolts. It seems I did everything else from the bottom as well as removing them from the bottom, but it’s been a while.

I also installed mine without a lift.
Like mentioned above , Jack stands needed as most of the removal & installation was done under the car .
I recall lowering it to snug up a couple of the bolts which I couldn’t easily reach from below & was easier from the top

I did mine no lift. Installed both sides left all hardware a bit loose & attached crossovers from under the car & tightened up the "V"-band clamps.

I can get to all of the header hardware short of the "V"-band clamps from the topside.
