I recently worked with Al the "Tinman" on a custom cold air kit for a customer's TTA.

We came to conclusion that a 4" kit was nearly impossible without modifying the car. The goal was to build the largest inlet system possible but NOT cut up the car. We compromised all out performance for the sake of preserving the integrity of a rare car. We ended up with a killer 3" system.

The pictures speak for themselves. Another OUSTANDING job by the "Tinman"

Can you post higher resolution pictures? Is this MAF to air filter, or Turbo to air filter?

I didn't realize I shrunk them that much!!!

Here you go!

We re-used the stock plastic pipe that connects to the turbo. The rest of the system is done in 3" aluminum- powder coated semigloss black.

Is this from the inlet bell and out less MAF? or from the MAF and out?

And how much?

He said in one post that they re-used the stock plastic pipe that connects to the turbo to the MAF and you can see the connector in front of the alternator. Personally, I would love to have this kit minus the first piece of tubing. I just want stuff from the MAF down to the air filter. How much for that?

You have to ask Al the "Tinman" for the price. He can probably get you setup with this kit soon.

why not just make the pipe one piece from the turbo to the maf.. be a lot "cleaner" look
