New tranny question

I just had my 4 year old Art Car 2004R rebuilt and my Non LU 9 inch TC freshned up. The tranny was basically a complete rebuild (new clutches, band ....). I have it in now and set my TV cable up according to instructions at GNTTYPE. It is working great, now my question is how much of a break in period is recommended before really hammering on it? I had a Trans break installed too, how long before unleashing some viscious launches? Thanks all!

i just had my done too. nice place to put your money , aint it. i was told a good 100 miles or so, so every thing seats good. good luck

HELL NO!!!! Hammer it! There is no stinkin' break in period.

Drive it like you stole it! Best shifts it ever makes will be now.

btw....What transbrake did you install?

Thats what I wanted to here! I brought my tranny to Nick Micale here in Phoenix and he got it done for me. I am not sure what brake he is using but it works!
