Well I won't be getting a loan for a car lol. Its probably difficult when your 16 ;). I am still searching for one to just drive. This car was a perfect candidate for a Daily for me while I fix the 84 GN. I am hoping he will change his mind, because I have cash and ready to pick it up!

While I am your freind Zack, I will point out that having to many irons in the fire will be a pain to say the least. I have more on my plate now than I want but I will make it through. Honestly, just fine a cheap DD and finish up school, then worry about the rest.

Not yet but I'll have to come up once they start up in the spring. I have met a few of you guys at the NEBRA get together. Maybe make the trek to Cottons this year if he does the winter BBQ thing, that looked like a good time last year. Sorry to here your now Buickless;)

That wasn't even close. And the car was half the price of that car. I am talking cheap money $$ guy was in a bind and needed it gone. It was well worth the $$

Well it is true there is a 2k diff from GN to TT.. Crazy as they are same car in my eyes.. I guess there is no end to stupidy being parted from $$

Mechanically they may be the same but the appearance of the GN is worth a bit more. That can be a positive and negative.

Sorry for your experience but it goes to show that if a deal is too good then you better have cash in hand. Either someone else will show up with cash while your running to the bank (which happened) or they will think twice and decide not to sell it.

A similar situation for me. Found a GN and made an offer on a Friday night but bank was closed and called on saturday morining to come and get the car but the owner said the deal was now a no go because he had a better offer. I wasn't convinced so a month later I drive by the house and see it in the back yard still. I then go and get the amount he first said yes to, so I now have cash in my hand. I knock on the door and show him the envelop full of cash and he decides to sell it to me. I get a bill of sale and a title in my hand and I leave with the car before he can change his mind again.
