Newbie Engine Rebuild Question...

[T-Type S10]

I just bought an 85 Buick Regal T Type engine with 96000 miles on it and plan on rebuilding over the next month or two. It will eventually end up in a 1st Gen S10. I would like to get about 350 - 450 HP out of the engine. What is the best way i can go about doing that?

I'd start by going to http://www.gnttype.org/ and doing a lot of reading... especially the spring cleaning and performance recipe sections.
