After months of waiting I finally have all the parts that I need to start tearing apart my car. I have 50 lb injectors, a DeQuick front mount, DeQuick TE60, upper plenum, t-body, and DeQuick aluminum radiator.

Is there anything I need to do before installing all this ****? Oil the turbo or does it come prelubed?

How will this thing run/ any predictions?

Maybe it will finally beat the GTP. :D

Thanks,

Hey Nick how is it going? Do you have the fuel setup? good pump like the 340 , change the fuel filter, adj fuel regulator, a scan tool. I would make sure the car runs good with all the current stuff on it first before you up grade. Make sure to check all the sensor readings to find out if they are set ok like the TPS, Mass, O2 bla, bla, bla. No matter what you put on the car, if it is not tuned right it will never run like the way it should. I know lots of people with 10sec parts on the car and only runs in high 11's. the key is tune, tune and more tuning. If you get the Translator plus with the proper chip, you will be able take out or add timing and fuel and fine tune the beast. One of my buddies went from 12.30 @113 to 11.20 @118 by just playng with his fuel and timing. If you can afford F.A.S.T go for it if not T.P will work. Also you will need good fuel to get max out the beast,If not at least SMC Alky for the street.

good luck

Prasad

Cool, thanks Prasad. I need to get a scan tool next to monitor all my sh!t. I'll look into my fuel pump and watch the pressure when I'm at the track. I got a couple of chips from DeQuick (110 octane w/ 29* and 93 octane w/ 18*).

Any other suggestions guys?

Don't know what's already done to your car but a 160 degree thermostat and a hose kit would help. With the TE60 you will blow the stock hoses off the intercooler and throttle body.

New plugs and aftermarket wires are good additions also if they have not already been done. Alot of guys use the AC Delco CR43TS plugs and Red Armstrong wires. You could upgrade to the magnacore wires.

If you want the alky injection system WIKEDV6 is talking about there is a group purchase going on right now for it.

You need a boost gauge also. Don't want to blow a head gasket

Oops, here's a list of all I have.

Boost, trans temp, fuel pressure, oil pressure, water temp gauges
TE 60, FM, Hemco upper, 62mm T-body, new plugs (I think 42's), 50 lb injectors, 3500 911 stall, adj. fuel pressure reg., hose kit, alum. rad., and a 255 pump with *I think* a hot wire (is there any way to check?)

Is there any way to hide an alky system? I want to be able to make some money with this car.
