Anybody got any updates on todays happenings at Reynolds?

I heard Kerney went 9.29@147 :D
where did you hear that? also heard he stood it on the bumper & when it came down it took out the oil pan. the stage motor camaro had some bad luck I think they said it broke the block... but don't quote me on that. anyone know if Dave SullivanBamford is there to put Kerney on the trailer?

I'm sure my phone will be ringing in a few min.

Dave England - not sure who's car he is driving, but he turned in a 10.98 on the foot brake.

Don Palumbo ran into problems and doesn't look good for the event remainder.

John Martin made the pull from Texas. On a strong launch he apparently broke his sway bar...so much so that the quarter panel hit the pavement.

Jason White turned in a 9.5x pass to be in the hunt.

Phil McGloin was just putting in some sixty-foot passes prior to the 3-hour shutdown. Something about a 6.01@117

Richie and Don "The Cruz Missile", fast friends from Florida, both turned in 9.42 passes.

It's late and the track lights are on in full force. The temperatures are coming down....

Not wanting to have the Ohio representation be less than optimal, Phil McGloin decides to turn a (semi?) full pass and lays down the gauntlet to the tune of 9.382@144+

Then Richie comes back up to the line. This time Richie turns it up to the TSM limit of 24 psi and runs a picture-perfect pass. A 9.33 pass!! He has surpassed the TSM legal best ever ET. But the evening sessoin is not over yet.

From Phoenix Arizona comes Dick Kereny up to the line with a new oil pan and pickup in "the big motor" (after a cap or two has been pulled for inspection...it passed.) Dick then does the unspeakable by running a 9.29@146+ and weighs in at a TSM-legal 3600 pounds.

And they are still running folks!

wow

congrats Richie. Amazing. As far as the tsm legal 24psi

Congrats to Cruz and White. Guys still chasing richie I see. Awesome times. The buicks are getting it done. Congrats everyone.

not enough time

What about Roy Garcia??

Could not bring the car. I am sure he would have hit the 8's with the stock block. Maybe next time. That was the first thing I asked when I got the call about the reynolds passes by richie and them.

Wow, sorry to hear they couldn't bring the car. Considering the times I am hearing 8's from those guys sound about right! There is always BMP, the cool weather is coming so it's time to let it all hang out:biggrin:

Laz and Roy could not bring the Cuban Missile but Laz is going to be directing the TSM event on Saturday. Times run today are eligible to be called TSM Outlaw. Saturday it is the real deal.

On Phil's 9.38 pass he delivered with a 1.39 short time carrying the front wheels three feet in the air for about 100 feet (per Laz). Anyone want to guess which tires tripped the 60-foot beams?

Question is: Who will be running 9.30's or 9.20's in competition? ;)

awesome action out here. I managed 124 mph on nittos and pump gas with alcohol.

Scott,

For us hard core geeks (86Brick and I) can you give us the incrementals on Phil's and D*ck's pass?

Sorry, but not at this time. I am just reporting what people tell me over the phone...and cell phone reception in Reynolds Georgia can really suck depending on the cell service being used.

yeah that's with no tuning at all. I think 130 mph will be easy. The et was 11.24 with a 1.94 60'
