I currently have a 49, 009's, ported irons with intake, .30 over block, 3000 orange stripe street brawler converter and wanted opinions on upgrading turbo and injectors but wanted to keep my converter the same for know. Will a 66 or a 45-A be too much turbo for my 3000 converter? The car went 11.50@117 @ 23 lbs but I'm out of injector and wanted to consider bigger turbo anyway?Any options?thanks

I bought three turbos last year. I thought I was done, but then wanted more each time. I'm using a T70 BB on the street now, feels good.

What even your goal is, raise it a little, then raise it again. That should do.

A 66 or the 45A will both need more converter.....say 3400+. If you want to keep the same converter i would consider a 60 or maybe a 63. You could also go with a 66 BB.

The GT6131E works great with a 3k stall convertor. On the foot brake, I get almost instant 8# now with my new 3k PTS convertor.

hey, 2quik6, who makes the gt6131e? Where do I get it. I guess this would be a performance gain over the ta49.thanks for the replies

I got mine from PT&E, but now I think Mike at Full Throttle also carries them or can get them and Limited Eng makes them as well.
I just got my car back yesterday from the tranny shop and have the 3000 stall convertor now from PTS, only had one test drive, but I'm about to go for a drive now that I have the leak fixed and broken vac lines that it came back from the tranny shop with...I'll post back in few how it feels going up from the 2700 stall I had before.
