Here's a Beaver getting ready for take off in Friday Harbor Wa. Spent the 4th weekend there. Steve Miller (aka Steve Miller Band) put on one HECK of a fireworks show. 40 minutes of Finale' style fireworks!!! Great airplanes those Beavers are. Gotta love radial engines.

That is a great way to spend over half a million dollars. I love those airplanes, if I ever strike it rich, I will have one.
 
the dude in the boat is craping all over himself and got the engine wide open trying to get out of the way:eek: :biggrin:
 
Beaver fever

Never seen so many in my life lived in Anchorage Alaska and the city was known to have the highest number of beaver per populas. Most Bush planes were rigged up with skis and floats and the rifle of choice was a lever action 45/70. Amazing the skill level real Bush pilots have they can set em beavers down in places unimaginable.
