Nitromethane and alky

Has anybody used this stuff or any nitromethane mix? Snow Perfomance suggests not to use more than a 12% mix or a lean condition will result.

edit:
i did some rough calculations and if i was to add 1/8 nitromethane to methanol which currently sprays at about 600 cc/min I would see a gain of approximately 30 horsepower when tuned properly.
