I did'nt want to barge in on yella's thread, so here's the question.
I know nitrous is dangerous if not used with proper fuel/air ratio, but would the engine benifit from nitrous if you plumbed the injector basically before the intercooler right out of the turbocharger, to work as a cooling device internally on the intercooler? or would there be no gain? and if this did work, would it be a safer way to run nitrous, even if its only a small hp gain? thanks guys.

Nitrous works when installed as designed in the up pipe with low timming 21 deg worked for me well , with a good fuel system and race gas . It will produce a cooler charge just by its properties going thru the intercooler isnt here or there . Its also great for parties

LOL, well if i get it, before I install it, i'll throw a party for sure:D

I saw 102hp at the rear wheels using 46N/42F jetting thru a single fogger nozzle in the up-pipe. (basic wet system, using NOS race solenoids)
That was with my Gray T-type, TE62, MSD50's, Dutt necked stock IC, 25psi & C16 race gas.
I used a TurboTweak race chip, with no funky adjustments to fuel or timing...

The dyno graph showed O2's to be very safe, and actually a tad rich compared the the previous non-nitrous run.

As long as you supply the fuel solenoid with boost regulated fuel from the fuel rail, the O2's should stay safe. (Assuming the fuel system is capable)

If you can,try to have some type of ability to retard timing...unless you have easy access to chip burning. Every car and combo, especially cam profiles, have a diferent affect, and require special needs on timing. I have both a DIS4 and MAFT+ that I can use to retard timing. It is one of the many safety features you should employ. I also use a window switch that allows the nitrous to engage only in a certain rpm 'window' and only at WOT. I just say this, if this is yourfirst time.

I've run it for years on NA buggies and have good experience....but I still cruz the posts and look for words of wisdom from others.

Good luck

Just spraying n2o will lean it out so you will need to add fuel also.
