No 1983 Corrvette or Grandnational??

anyone wondered about this fact? What was going on in GM? coincidence? just thinking out loud....opionions/facts welcome...
 
One and one half 1983 Corvettes in existence.
The one's in Bowling Green, I think.
Or is it the one half?
 
Just a coincidence.....

Going by memory the Vette never made actual production to the public because of the move from Missouri to the new Bowling Green plant..... think they built like 2 or 3 actual cars.

For Buick on the other hand the T-Type model designation was the big thing for 5 different Buick models that year 1983.

It had to be around the same time frame Molly was working on the prototype for Buick first being red and then repainting it black.

Again I am guessing on the actual time frames of the points I make.

I have always heard there were 13 made. That was also the transition from the old body style. Also known as the rarest vettes.

Just what I believed.

All the 83s produced were crushed and the one remaining car is white on tan and now resides in the Corvette Museum.
