Anyone familiar with my car will no im very frusterated with the tune. I bought the car and its had 30lb injectors with a RED A chip. The car knocked horribly and had a vicious idle. It sounded like it was misfiring and would hunt RPM's. I recently bought a set of 009's and it came with three chips, Another RED A , a turbo tweak, and a emmisions chip. After installing the injectors i went for the RED A chip first. Car had less knock but still enough to where i couldnt go more then half throttle. Also the car would almost die when the throttle had a sudden lift off. It actually stalled coming up to a stop sign. Also BL where acting funny. In overdrive crusing at idle the BL would go to 105 and flicker to 125 but then right back down to 105. While cruising at part throttle it would stay in the mid 130's, o2 was about 810.
I then installed the turbo tweak chip and it was a world of difference. Got a deadly smooth idle and the car doesnt know for the most part. No more stalling tendencys. The BL when different though. Now it will be at 120 when warmed up and cruising at idle, and then it goes to 141 and stays there at full or even part throttle. o2 stayed the same. I thought 140's for BL was usauly a vaccum leak but then why would it not act the same with the other chips?
Also i do still knock. It is when the boost reaches peak preasure(currently set to 15psi). The car will knock for a split second, not even close to as hard as it used to, and i will get .7 KR. I know its not false cause i can hear it. It only happend for that split seccond then goes away and i can continue at peak boost. The other time its happend is when i let off at peak boost. Same thing it will happen for a split second and then got away. Any ideas???
