Hello, helping a friend. The tranny was built couple months ago across country.. Overnite it has developed a no reverse condition. If selected into neutral the car moves forward. Direct scan says park/neutral when in neutral. So the tranny is relaying the info. All forward gears seem fine.
It would appear to be an issue with the valvebody. But not having a first gear to test..what other things can be done.
In reverse it will build boost just like if in first. So its not slipping..just not moving.
I'm thinking yanking out the Stage Rite and putting it back to the stock plate.. unless any other ideas.. cant perform the drop it into 1 st to see if it holds test with the SR brake.
