No Power ANYWHERE!!!

Car sat for about 2 months and battery died...

I tossed the charger on it and it showed charged.

I jumped in to start the car and it makes a few clicks and nothing. Nothing comes on at all! No lights no headlights nothing. Didn't have time break out the voltmeter but put a test list on the terminals and it lit up. Back of the alternator didn't have power at all.

I'm guessing I need to start checking the grounds...No rats or anything either lol...

Any pointers or ideas?

Don't go looking for zebras until you prove the battery is still good.

If battery is good:

1. Positive battery cable
2. Negative battery cable

Sounds like a shorted battery to me. They can show charged and full voltage with no load, but as soon as you put a load on it the voltage drops like a rock.

It was a loose cable at the + terminal...so weird just sitting still it got loose...
