Just got a new trans installed with a billet 9x11 convertor. Around town driving you can feel the lock up engage and it disengages with the brake pedal.
I was doing some datalogging to see where the shift points are occurring and I set the chip (ext) to lock up wot at 74mph. The problem is there is no rpm drop on the data trace. The powerlogger file shows the ecm command the lock up.
Is there a different fluid path for wot lockup? The convertor has less than 1000 miles on it, could it be overpowering the clutch? This is a pretty mild setup (mid 11's car).
Trans is strong with 275psi in D with full tv., billet drum, dual fed 3rd, ect.
Thanks,
Mike
