FWIW on my GN (also a stock pulley car) I was able to fit a 630 belt because thats all they had at the time but it was a tight fit.

Aug 19, 2018 #22 8 87GNT Active Member Joined Nov 17, 2011 Messages 308 It was in fact the belt was too long. I looked at the marking at e o'clock on the tensioner and it was way off. I went to the auto parts and got the 505635 and no more clacking....many thanks for all the help
