If you are looking for forged the "NOS" description in your title is keeping the guys who have the forged ones away. NOS is factory GM, which were cast. I guess you want a set of TRW/Federal Mogul "Power Forged" pistons.

Thanks for pointing that out I'm looking for nos like the title says to take some guess work out of putting it back together, but I'm just finding out that forged is better. I guess I'll stick with nos ones and hope I don't blow them up again. If no one comes up with the original cast ones then I guess I will start a thread for the next best thing. Sorry for the confushion.

Just my opinion, but if you are wanting to install a standard bore forged piston in a standard bore block that would certainly need at least a hone job, you will end up with too much piston to cylinder clearance?

This may work OK if you do not mind some piston knock while the engine is heating up.

We have yet to find even a low mileage V-6 block that would spec out for a standard bore replacement piston.

The best VERY low mileage 109 block we found ended up with a 0.005" over piston. :)
