I would say 150-200 for the pair. After seeing tommynos gn I am gonna powdercoat mine. That way I really dont have to worry about condition of the finish.

I've seen them on ebay for $160.There is another new set on there for $100 but it doesn't say NOS so I don't know if they are repros or what?I didn't think they made repros but they could have.FWIW, I have a couple NOS sets put away so the more they are worth the better.lol

You can still get them for around 70 ea at the dealer. Glad I bought several sets when they were still cheap at 25 ea, lol.

Justin, why don't you just do like I did.....if you already have a set of used sill plates, polish them out with Dupont No. 7 polishing compound with a buffer....makes them shine better than stock and really looks good. You can find these sill plates at junkyards everywhere cheap....don't go out and pay those outrageous prices for them. Friends ask me where I got the new plates and I tell them I just polished them out.....they say "What, all that work for them?" Well, only takes about 1/2 hour for both....they are aluminum, my favorite metal.

Save your money by doing this and spend your saved money on much needed items for your T, like Torque Thrust IIs or a '59 Les Paul

Aren't these still available from GM? Or did they discontinue them...... like everything else.

Read post #4 ?

Yeah, Dave, put on your glasses! Or clean them. (chuckle)

Seriously, why don't you take my suggestion and polish out some? Saves you lots of money and they end up looking better than the stock. Want to see a picture of mine like that?

See how shiney they are? Of course, over time they will scratch up again from getting in and out of the car. Save yourself some money, man, get a buffer, some Dupont No. 7 polishing compound and have at it. They look great polished up. I did the same thing to the sill plates on my Vettes.

Sorry, I posted that from my phone, and didn't read it well enough :o. I'd like to make some carbon ones for my car eventually.

Dave, that's a good idea. I already know you're very proficient in fabricating things like that front air dam system you came up with using cardboard and fiberglass.....forgot what a darn good engineer you'd make. Carbon fiber would be a real nice "bling it up" accessory for the G Body....no kidding, I think it would look real boss.

If it works out, make a lot of them and let our own Scot W. sell them for you....then you can buy a ZR1 (to give me a ride in:biggrin:)

Anyway, good idea....go for it before anyone else beats you to it. Always thought you are a smart one.
