Not Bad For A Supra Owner

couldnt find my boost problem so i called the doctor in for a check up, here is what we found, about a 8th of a inch off from sealing.....not bad for a supra owner now let the haters come in and chime on this....now heres the catch guess who this downpipe is made from, its not a THDP nor a ATR..... first clue he is a supporting vendor back east, Second clue the name of the company starts with a G and end with a Y...... think im making this up i got this downpipe straight from lou and he verified that this pipe is from a supporting vendor, this pipe really is a POS!!!

Now u know why your 60 foot were so crappy and why couldnt built any boost or get over 10psi no matter how hard you tried.

There have been other downpipes on this car and setup and they worked just fine until this one came along, plus i dont think that garret would make an 82 housing that crocked, thats how..

well i went back to a external wastegate, well take better pictures tomorrow once its all buttoned up:redface:

Now get rid of that ATR gate and get something like a Tial or Tnetics and you will be good!! switched to a delta rev. from an ATR and have never looked back.

I think Ziggy & Harrold forgot to explain that who ever opened up the hole in the exhaust housing went to big & didn't pay attention to puck alignment. Therefore making an external waste gate pipe ness.I can understand the frustration but the issue should be with who ever enlarged the hole. No big thing & probably no harm intended, But I just want to be welcome to use G-body parts or any of the other vendors help should I need to. This community is too small & we all need each other.

I didn't put the pipe in, take it up with the owner of the car he did it, i just found the problem...
