One of Bambi's cousins decided to get revenge on me last night for the death of their father 2 years ago, and did a somersault over the hood of my Dodge Neon. I need a new/used hood, and a new headlamp. My first problem is that I am having one HELL of a time trying to locate used parts for this car, I can get a pair of new headlamps online for $160 but the only hood options are carbon fiber and fiberglass with some non-functional hood scoop and I am not wasting nearly 500 bucks to make my car look like a reject from F&F2. Does anybody know a good source, online or otherwise, for newer parts at decent prices? Makes me wish Gbodyparts did Dodge...hehe

Second problem, Each headlamp has 2 screws holding it in from the top. On both the drivers and passenger side, the heads have snapped off one of the screws. Short of drilling the thing out, anybody have an idea as to how I can remove them? I considered cutting a groove in with my dremel but I don't think the shaft of the screw would be strong enough to be removed like that.

Anyhow, I know its not a Buick, but its something I'm pretty sure we've all dealt with at some point.

Thanks in advance,
Sam

You can get an aftermarket stock hood for a Neon for under $100. They fit; I've installed them as recently as 2 weeks ago. Check Inteuro. They are in Florida but a phone call might get you a referral to a supplier in the NE closer to you. They sell other parts too, such as headlights. You might get a package deal.
