Bought a set of "grand national t-tops" from ebay. Paid by payal..then drove to his house to pick them up. the tops were QUITE OBVIOUSLY from a trans am. I left them but the seller is keeping the money. Opened a dispute with paypal

So if you see any GN parts listed from this seller...AVOID

If that pos was from sewell nj I seen the ad on craigslist and ebay and emailed the guy because it was clear to me they belonged to a late 80'S era camaro or firebird. The guy emailed me telling me I was dead wrong and that they came off of his car. And that they where easily worth $400 because they are rare.

Here is the reply I got in my ebay account.

they were sold to me for a project car an 87 GN and they were the same that was on the car from what i could see the car was too far gone as it was vandalized and a real mess so we sold it and i kept these.

if unsure please dont bid as i just listed them locally

gn has 3 types of t tops and i want to let you know so you understand that.

this is an 87 they are oem tops

i paid 350 and have listed them local for 450 thank you they are not returnable because of the weight and the shipping costs involved

What a maroon. All g-bodies share the same T-Tops. Any monte, cutlass, GP, GN, regal will interchage no problem. They dumba$$ over payed for a set of f-body t-tops and now is trying to pawn them off on someone else. A decent set of g-body t-tops should be around $200 for the pair.

Dude ur better than i..Theres no way i woulda left that guys house without my $...Then again if he was close enought to drive and go get them you shoulda just went to see them brought a buddy and took cash or a money order..That way if they werent what you wanted you could just walk away....
