Hey guys,

Went out and tried to tune car tonight and guess what I got a code 55 and code 52 which basically means my calpak, 93 chip, and ECM are all shot!!! Poston's will not accept any electrical items for returns? Am I screwed or is there someone out there with these items that would return these if they are DOA or 6 months down the road? I spent a little over 300.00 bucks for this crap from Postons and it looks like I'm out the money? TurboLinks numbers went all screwy, my coolant temp was like 230 degress and 0 blm and 0 int, but I got the codes right before I attempted again and can't even get t-link to connect to the computer now and I'm blowing dark smoke out the tailpipes and my SES light is on. What do I do??

Since I live very close to you the cheapest way is to locate a used 87 ECM from your local junkyard. These guys are totally computered and share info like stink on sh*t. I know because I do their accountng.

Your error is a bad ECM and bad calpack. Your ECM chip is likely ok. The only hard part is the calpak chip-I do not know where to find one. Send me a PM and we can talk on the phone. Brad

Hi,
Make certain that the prom and calpak are properly installed, no bent pins.Check all the ecm pins and connector terminals while you are at it.Static discharge could have messed things up too, though I doubt it.After that, I guess it's the hardware. Good luck!
