I just did the 86,87 computer swap.works so much better .you get to use a scanmaster ,upgraded maf and a TT chip. Don't short change your car do the upgrade.

I did the 86/87 conversion too (same as blacazz) this spring and WOW a discernable difference in how the car performs. Plus the Scanmaster allows you to monitor the systems. Its a little pricey, but in my opinion, well worth it.

Still kicking, The old snap on mt2500 is good tool for the hot air or intercooled cars stock ecm cars. I.

If you upgrade your ecu ever, bite the bullet and go with the Holley set up or the Turbotweak blue box and get away fron the 35-38 year ecms...
