I can get my hands on olds "OG" 200 r4 trans. for farely cheap and more then likely will need to be rebuilt . I understand that the valve body needs to be replaced with brf or brf style to make it go but what else needs to be replaced or is recomended by the trans gurus to make it perform like a GN trans.

Id offer about $35 for it. You will need a donor core to get everything you need to get it up to par.

The big question would be is the trans in decent shape where you cant see it? If it is its worth dong the change over. Most $500 BR cores have issues. If you have some $ to spend id look at the deal CK has right now on his stage 1 trans. Its hard to beat that value.
