I have fresh weber stroker motor with girdle, how many quarts should I put in at oil changes, I've heard from 5-6qts. At 5 qts, the dipstick is on add and on 6 qts its on full, just want to make sure the right amount.thanks

I run 6 qts with a 52 filter. remember the girdle is 3/4 inch thick,so the oil pan is lower

Only 6? Better check it after start up and watch the oil pressure during WOT

So, shouldn't it read less? If the pan was higher the dipstick would read more. Mine takes 7 liters and sits on the add mark on my dipstick.

you must have one of those inaccurate metric dipsticks.. you need an american one for using quarts
