Wow i got some of those with my TA valve covers and i havent put them on yet im glad i read this thread whew!!!!

there is a big L on your forehead!!!:biggrin: easy mistake just pray you didnt push your oilpan gasket out!! nice find. that is stupid that they do not come already vented

You know had my cork oil pan gasket not been new then yes I likely could've pushed it out. Fortunately it only took a single trip around the block to push oil up the dipstick.
