IMO-Don't bother with an 86/87 oil cooler. Just spend $60 on a universal unit and be done with it. Good luck Brad

you can check out summit, jegs, maybe a few buick vendors might have some. I have a derale kit, or hayden..... I forget but pretty much the same.

Any universal kit should do..but just remember our cars didn't come with the buick sandwich adapter for the cooler so you will have to find that as well. And i don't think jegs or summit sell that.

They do, my only question on this, is the thermostaic switch. Not sure all have them but I got one that did. Im thinking it causing my oil to be low. I think i needed to semi fill my cooler and lines with oil, so when it opens(thermo switch in the sandwich) my oil level wouldnt get low. It might just be tho, i think that's what happening. Didnt mean to rip your thread sorry.

I bought the sandwich and oil cooler separate, So i can buy my own hose, cut it to my length/route liking.

Mine is a Derale kit from Summit. It fits on the front of the AC condenser along with the Trans oil cooler. Brad
