Oil In MAF?

I've read on here that getting oil in the maf will make it go bad. My question is, how can oil get to the maf? I have a seal going out in my turbo and was wondering if there's any way that oil can get to the maf because of this? Thanks, R.B.

humm, i could be wrong, but i can see if you have a seal going bad, and oil is leaking into the inlet side of the turbo, and when you let out of the gas real quick after being in boost and hear that fart/flutter/dying pigeon (what ever you want to call it) its sending all that compressed air backwards and shoots it out the air filter right? i guess it could take oil with it? makes sense to me.

Over oiling the K & N filter might cause the oil on the MAF.
