Oil in wastegate actuator?

I pulled off my WG actuator last night to do the adjustability mod. The unit was filled with oil? The car is basically stock, and still has the breather assembly in place, if that's relavent. This is a 40k mile car.

Is this a symptom of a problem, or just a result of still having the breather hooked up?

Your intercooler is probably full of oil, too. It's most likely the breather causing this.

I'd get a bypass plug and a side filter for the passenger valve cover. Cheap and effective, plus another cool chrome piece.
