ROYAL PURPLE.
We used it in the bearings on some high HP high speed electric motors where I used to work. They ran for years (24/7) without the normally required bearing changes.
I started using it in my T-Type after I broke in the new engine on regular hydrocarbon oil. Still holding 25-30 psi at hot idle with 5w-20. I'm going to switch both of my other vehicles over to it. It also has the high pressure additives, especially the extreme duty stuff.

John

Isn't 5w-20 kinda think for these motors?

The other thing about Rotella is the price
I can change the oil every 1000 miles
15-40 $7-8 for 5 qts
5-40 $mid 20s for synth.
As other guys have posted turbo Deisel's motors are not cheap to repair
And carry 100,000 miles or 5yrs

When you tear down a diesel motor and see hardly any wear, and attribute that to using rotella, its sort of poking at the wrong conclusion. Diesel gas is VERY slippery. Its the main reason why these engines can go 1,000,000 miles between rebuilds.

castrol gtx 10 30. but i do like the royal purple as i know it works as it says but at 7.00 a quart??????????????????
