Oil pressure sending unit

Any gnX owners have any problems with the oil pressure sending unit. Mine seems to be very eratic lately with the gauge bouncing up and down then just
shuts off. The wire seems to be on the unit snug.

acts up then stops working.

probably just a bad sender- pull the wire off and ground it and see if the gauge pegs all the way up. if it does, the wire and gauge is good. if not, figure out where the problem is. since it's a g body, i'd look at the wiring connector where the cluster plugs into the dash.
if the wiring checks out, Stewart Warner should still sell sending units, but they may look different than the originals.
