it was leaking than i put the new gasket cleaned it good and its still dripping?

should i double up the gasket on it?

i just replaced mine. i cut one out of thick gasket paper, used 3m weatherstrip adhesive and glued it to the drain pipe, let it dry and put the bolts back in. no leaks:)

When you put it together make sure there is NO oil on the surfaces. Wiping them with acetone works well for that. Also, make sure oil isn't dripping out while you're trying to put it together. I then use a thin layer of RTV on all three surfaces, let it get tacky, put it together, and don't have an leaks.

+1 but use the right stuff. that **** is like liquid cement

Careful sealants as it will ooze into the fllow and cause a restriction and backup psi and leak.
No need for sealant.
Clean, flat oil free surfaces and a good gasket is all thats required

This is for the turbo correct? the line itself could have a hole, split in it, this happenend to me years ago, one gasket is all you need, and make sure you remove ALL the old gasket before installing new one! And do not over tighten

That's true. When you use RTV less is often more. All you want is enough to to make the surfaces sticky. DO NOT goop it all over. I've never had it leak into the pipe but I don't use a ton of it either.
