Oil to turbo

New turbo.
Any way to check and make sure it's getting enough oil? I kept the original oil line. I don't want to replace it if I don't have to. Just wondered if there was some way to make sure everything is working correctly before I fire it up without disconnecting the line from the block.

I would disconnect the ECM power wire and crank the car over with the tube off the turbo.

Tie a large plastic bag to it and see if she's squirtin' whilst cranking.

Worked for me when I did my timing chain install for priming.

Or you could do like me, just leave it disconnected and crank the engine for several seconds.

The amount of oil sprayed all over the front of the engine bay is directly proportional to the amount that will be fed to the turbo.
