Ok just tryin to lighten things up in here.. Ya I hate everyone and you all suck BUT this isn't one of those threads :p

.. Well we got another 8"s of snow the other day so I guess I still have to get my butt back in the garage. Car project runs now so I can start picking at the small stuff.
..So what are all you other dreamers doing :p

I have pulled the engine to replace head gaskets and fix an oil leak. Also add a big power adder.

Does charging the battery count?

well thats a months job here.. Have to get Smitty to research it for me and beat it to death for a few weeks.. another week to convince myself it is the right battery. let it sit in the garage for 6 days and 23 hours to adjust to garage temps .. Have a coffee.. then slap it in in 5 minutes. thinkin here... I do have to get a battery for the beater.. The Optima just died. Lasted for years. Its been in a lot of my other cars and a boat  BUT there has been a lot of discussion about the quality of them now
Ok I have to get to work.. Grout man today :o

winter

Getting the bitch painted.Going in today. Almost considered doing a two tone paint scheme but can't bring myself to do it on a GN.

I would do the two-tone. You could always use vehicle wrap if you didn't like it.

I was thinkin about wrapping mine.. (ummm..get your mind outta the gutter ) I think you either like wraps or ya hate em.. my car is nothing special an just want to dress it up a little  OH>> NO 2 TONE

winter project

Notching the frame so my new Street lites will fit... 315's out back :D

Just finished installing freshened up trans and PTC 9.5 converter. Got to drive it a couple times in between snow storms.

Put in a Metco fuel cell in the trunk for my alky along with along with extending the wiring and fuel hoses for that.

Deciding whether to get the hood, header panel and front bumper repainted.

Installing a Vince Janis Stage 2 tranny with manual brake and Pat's 3200 10" lock-up convertor. New Moser axles, TA rear girdle, my custom rear trailing arms, and C-clips. I added new Monster tach, oil pressure, trans temp, and fuel pressure gauges. Kenne Bell doghouse and PTE stretched intercooler. Powdercoated my rims clear so no more polishing and new MT ET streets on back and SR radials in front. Oh yeah, new driveshaft and U-joints and HR tranny mount.
HOLY CRAP...I never realized I spent that much $$$. I am dead meat when the credit card bill gets here.

I forgot the 72mm Throttle body from TR custom parts...I am dead for sure

Geting it painted, bringing it to either ottos or Jim dunn at buickturboperformance for a tune and installing new valve springs and timing chain, also getting seats recovered, and buying mt et streets for my new draglites:D:D

Taking the rims up to get new skins on them today. I went with 245/60 15 BF Goodrich T/A's, raised white letters. I also started going through the engine again making sure everything is tight and ready for good weather. Also making sure the engine bay is clean and tidy and ready for the oohs and ahhs. :) New brakes on the way soon too, when it warms up some around here.

been working on the paint job since October. I stripped it, did the body work and sprayed the epoxy primer. I have 2 month's to get it done for my first car show. Also just put the a/c box back in after 15 years.

I'll be replacing the chewed-up hood liner with a brand new one, installing a Hurst Line-Lock, replacing the "A" pillar double gauge pod with a full length one and installing some Bilstein shocks on all 4 corners. Then when I get back from the TurboBuick.com Nationals hopefully I'll have a few more things to put on :). Then when the snow is finally gone I'll be getting the brakes, suspension and transmission freshened up.

I forgot to mention I'll be getting the A/C recharged/fixed. Yes, it actually gets hot enough up here to use it.
