I'm planning on getting the fillers redone. They take less than a day to start hazing and have some buffer burns in places. Since everything will be off and the front bumper is full of chips that someone rattle canned over I'm gonna get both bumpers painted and swap the steel supports for aluminum ones. Any tips, I'll gladly take.

Walk out in the garage and look at it, walk back in house, walk out in the garage look at it, walk back in the house, repeat.......

Been enjoying my stocker over the winter. Put rims on it and tinted the windows.

Dan, glad to see the Mazda is running. That car is gonna fly!

Complete suspension rework. I mean everything, thanks to Gbody. Having the "original" F/R bumper fillers and bumpers repainted. May have the center of the Simmons painted black as well.

I am just contemplating a couple things... Do I dump one of the 4.1's or one of the stage motors into this 1971 Skylark I just got or not.......:confused::confused::confused:

Just finished up installing the hydroboost, new power steering pump, Fbod radiator, bar and plate tranny cooler, wiped all the gook off the various parts of the engine bay.

Up next is the second of two HRParts rear lower control arms. Just ordered some new 275 50 17 M&H drag radials for the 'nationals. Then I need to install new front calipers, ss lines, new rearend bearings and seals, new rear cylinders, new brake shoes. Then yank out the front and rear glass and reseal it with less glue so that I can get the trim on finally. Clean the old weatherstrip retainers and install new weatherstripping around the doors. Again, all before the nationals... Ugh.

Shovel and drive, shovel and drive.

Vacuum brakes in Jan. out in the cold was a necessity, not fun.

Still workin on hydroboost sucking air somwhere i think at the line lock im ordering powerstop rotors and pads and replacing all the hardware braided lines and new calipers, also ryin to decide on a fuel pump ;)

Time for a freshen up. Roller cam, roller lifters, forged pistons, ISAC and Razor's pump.

What long winter???? Its sunny and 75 here in Sun Diego.............

and I thought there was a recession goin on :p

Drug addicts will always find a way to get their fix...recession or not. I've resorted to selling pictures of the girl I live next to on the net, until the restraining order got served...DAMN! LOL

Cleaning up the engine bay while the motors out. Anything that was black is getting repainted, core support inner, fenders, brackets, etc.....anything that used to be black is getting hosed with satin. Cleaning up and re looming wiring. Anuy aluminum is getting brushed and cleared. I am sick of polished. It looks good only right after you do it. New fuel system and ISAC. All AN fittings will be black and used with braided nylon hose. External wastegate. And all exhaust coated with Techline's Cilgen satin black ceramic coating. I have most of the stuff to do LS1 brakes front and rear. But that will have to wait until I have wheels that will clear them.

I'm in the process of getting the car ready for Powertour. Updating the cooling system to a GN1 radiator from fullthrottletech with a coolent overflow tank from Mark Huffman. Pulled the transmission last night to send to ckperformance and Chris is going to go through everything and make sure I'm good to go. I ordered some parts from Brian Weavy to fix the wiper arm that I broke trying to put back on. Also I believe the module in the turn signal motor is bad so I ordered one of those too. I'm going to replace the flywheel as well since the transmission is out. It would probably be a great time to do a rear main seal but I really don't feel like it. Oh, then I noticed my DS header is cracked. It's a small one, but now it bothers me. Then I need to relube the car including changing the rear end lube. Then I'm going to get some miles on it once everything is together so that I don't embarrass myself on Powertour. Oh, and before I forget I need to retrofit and charge the a/c.

I charged the battery on the GN and it's still dead!

BUT..... I did a frame up resto on my little brothers 86 T 403 powered. I also built a 4.1 for my 85 Regal. Started the frame off Resto on the 85.

It's been a busy but.......LOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGG Freakin Winter. Come on Spring!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well lets see, I havent even started the car since last year! Got all kinds of stuff for it too. 30 spline Eaton, 30 spline Mosers, TA girdle which got clearcoated, new brakes and rear S/S braided hose, install kit, etc etc etc. Basically a whole new rear. Trying to do a LT4 starter, cutout; CK rear sump deep trans pan, BuickGN coolant overflow can, all kinds of stuff. We'll see if that happens this year.

Also getting started on my LS1 front brake conversion. Gonna buy the brackets soon and get started on the hubs.

If I get my heads back from being ported, I'll do that and a 208/208 cam at some point this year too.

Anybody good at installing rollbars?

I got some new Billet specialities street lites, 325 mickey t's. Gonna do a mini tub, mini tub, and control arm bracing. Also got a powerstroke IC that i need to fab up some pipes for so i can install it.

Just need some warmer temps, so garage isn't so miserable....
