okay stupid question from a rookie??????

Help.
Imagine if you will its 845 @ night and you got a wild hair up your ..(Well you know), and you want to swap you colum shift Regal with a floor shifter. (Both are auto).
You are looking with your x-ray eyes and cant seem to find what is holding the floor shifter console in place.
Any suggestions besides wait until day-light.

Two screws in the glove box part. Then remove the shifter handle (C-clip), and near the ashtray are two more screws. This will let the chrome/woodgrain shifter cover come up. Then I think the remaining screws are under there.


Careful, it's fragile.
