I dont see what the big deal is. He obviously loves his car.......and you know we got some really idoits out there, that let their turbo regals sit outside for years and dont even move 'em.....in a corn field non the less. And you guys are bitchin about somebody that has taken pride in his GN and done what he wants to it.

Would you rather see this car in this condition or a rusty old piece of **** that does not run:confused:

:D ;) :)  :p

Hey, maybe your GN is JUST a drag car but I like to drive my car Period .

I like to drive my car, too. It spends more time on the street than it does on the track. Actually, it probably spends more time on the street than one that's been dropped and has 20" wheels (bending a Draglite is only a $150 error and my intercooler scoop doesn't hit anything but high curbs).

The TRs were built for straight line performance plain and simple. Thus, the path of least resistance is to improve upon that principle which is why so many TRs are set up for drag. I respect anyone who devotes time to this (dying) hobby no matter what make, model or modifications but I do find 20" rims and rubberband tires on a car with 350+ ft. lbs. of torque somewhat of an oxymoron. It's a style vs. performance thing that my simple mind just can't reconcile. That was really my only point, which really has been blown way out of proportion. Sorry if that offends you. Plus, I'm not the guy who said that the owner should be tortured and killed. Where's the outrage at that? Sheesh.

Style aside, I think that car looks very clean, and he obviously didn't just slap a set of 20" rims on there like a number of the ghetto-rides I see daily.

I think some of you need to get off your high horse, and realize that just because you think something doesn't look good, doesn't mean it's a "waste of a good car"...

I personally would not put those wheels on a TR or that steering wheel either, but I was just stating that what he has done to his car is much better then some guy who parks his in a field to die for the next 5 yrs(like the engine dies and then the ****head say screw it and parks it in his back yard for 5 yrs). I think everyone here will agree with the statement that has already be said:

to each their own , whatever floats your boat, whatever pulls your trigger, whatever snaps your bean:cool:
I am sure there are things peps dont like about my car.........oh well. **** happens to the best of us:D
Just wait til some ricer gets a hold of a TR...........then what a wing and dual fart cans? Then we are all going to need something bigger then a barf bag. How about a .45?;)

The GNs weren't built for NASCAR anymore than a Taurus, Monte Carlo or Tundra. All are otherwise mundane, horribly handling cars that are currently in NASCAR.

The TRs sold to the general population, and the ones we're debating right now, were straight line performance cars. People who wanted cars that went fast AND went around corners didn't buy Regals.

it's definately not my style... & i don't dig the steering wheel... but at least it doesn't have wire rims on it! ugh! those make me wanna heave :p

lol i like the description "1994 Buick Roadmaster wagon 20K invested 84,000 miles. Daily Driver" alota money into a wagon

now THAT doesn't actually look too bad. i kinda like it for what it is. i would never do anything like it to the GN. i prefer the 70's/80's look for that!:)
