Can I simply drain the radiator and then connect a hose pipe to the heater hose to the left looking @ thefront of the motor from the front of the car and with the lower radiator hose disconnected induce wator into the motor thereby flushing everything out the lower radiator hose????????

I have drained radiator numerous times only to have the water go back brownand murky.. I t wa sfine until I started running RMI-25 and it must have broke sediment a loose inthe raditator cause the motor was rebuilt and clean 4000 mi ago.

I got a new Modine Model# 951 F-body radiator to install and I want it to stay clean. Replacing Arizona GN's recore to see if f-body helps!

put hose in rad
open petcock on rad fully
turn on water/ start car
turn heater on high/ hot
let run untill all water coming out is perfectly clear

let drain /use distilled water to refill with your mix

that should help

The proper way is to use a rad. flush machine such as a Wynn's unit, which will get it out of the heater, engine and rad system and flush til she comes clean.

Sounds like it would work, but the mess and possible anti-freeze and crap going in the ground or sewers is not good unless you can capture and properly dispose of the stuff, I am no where near a Al Gore type whacko, but we are hopefully a little wiser nowadays and not pollute so much, but that is just me.

F-body vs AZGN 3 core

With RMI25 believe the 1st time you use it you should flush after 5hundred miles or so cuz it does knock loose crap/slime from the block/water jackets/ heater core. Even with a new recore the water will turn color good thing it keeps it in suspension so to speak. I know it took a couple times at changing every 500 miles till that murky look was gone.

It would be interesting to see if the F-body can beat AZGN3core. Kind of like Dela Hoya vs. Mayweather Jr. 2 good rads and 2 good fighters. Had the 3 core on a GN that the 18th street gang stole here in Burque. It worked great never above 175. Do you go with the old true blue or the new kid in the ring with a great record. Maybe it will be a tight /close decision or a unanimous decision or a KO:confused:

So post your temps as I've been thinking of going with the true blue 3 core as I know what it can do when the heat is turned up and plus you use your old tanks and you don't haveto buy an oil cooler. By the way I'm going with the kid Mayweather Jr. This time I'm going with the brother rather then the cuz'!;) I'd like to see them both go toe to toe, hope Mayweather doesn't pull a Pernell Whitaker throw a couple combos run and hide ,tie you up ,throw a couple combos run and cover.

true

although thats not something most people have at home. plus they cost money

after about 30-40 min of the engine running /thermostat opening up/ water cycling through the heater core ect
the water will be perfectly clear.
it will most certainly come clean and give everything a thorough flush out.
