If i am reading it right, a6 should have power when i use a test light right?

pin p of the ignition module (closest to radiator) has to have power
if it doesnt the cci fuse is blown or you have a wiring issue

key on ..check the cci fuse with a test light at both ends of the fuse then check pin p on ign module connector again

and you need to see a steady check engine light with key on or the ecm is not being powered

UPDATE!!! I put on my thinking cap and tried to make sense of all the numbers and figures(my head still hurts). Lol. Well, i did not have power at the pin "p" nor did i have power at a6 on the ecm harness. So....i ran a wire from the battery to the pink/black cable at the ecm harness "a6" and voila, i had power at a6 and at the ignition module(pins 1 and 3)!!! I then ran a whole new wire from the battery to the computer. I opened a new hole through the firewall and fished a new wire through the firewall(a real pita my friends!!). I turned on the car and its running again!!!!! First i want to say THANK YOU to all that helped me(about four pages worth on the topic). A special thanks to pacecarta, allblackt,earlbrown,slogn, and belsie. Little by little i am learning about these cars and one day i might be able to help someone else on the board. Thank you turbobuick.com. Now a last question... Is it normal for a wire to just break somehow like that leaving me stranded????? Thanks again fellas.

Do a little continuity testing on the ecm power(orange I think) and the connector . Wires get rubbed, get stressed and corrode. All cause them not to work as intended.

Your problem is most likely at this connector that feeds all those places

Pink/black wire that goes from a thicker feed from the ECM fuse,

to a thinner wire on the other side of the connector behind the glove box door that feeds those circuits and goes out the firewall after feeding the ECM pin A6.

Mine has already been cut off both sides of the connector and spliced together with the black tape on it in the pictures.

Not done yet, i just noticed that the computer got very hot! Where is the ecm line supposed to connect to the computer without burning it up? I guess its supposed to go to an ignition source? Why did the computer get so hot? Also, i dont know if it makes a difference but my fuel pump does not prime when i turn the key forward

Fusible link is a possibility.
Do you have power on both sides of the ECM/IGN fuse?
That is another 10 amp. Fuse to check with the IGN key ON.

I will check that fuse. Question, i have two orange wires coming from the battery area. One has a fusible link (no changeable fuse)and the other has a fuse. The one with the fuse goes to the battery terminal that i can take off, the other goes to the regular large positive cable. Which one is the ecm cable?

No but check that also.
Should say ECM/IGN.
It's a yellow 10 A fuse bottom left one same row we were working with.
Just below the TailLps fuse a red 20 A one.

The fusible link orange wire powers the ECM memory pin but that isn't A6.
It's powered by the ECM/IGN fuse.
If you have power on both sides of that fuse with the key ON, check that connector behind the glove box door which folds down and makes it easily accessible.

Salvage, it was the ecm-ign fuse that was bad. Patrick(slo-gn) gave me a call and he helped me resolve it. So you were on the money!! Slowly, i am learning and its guys like you all that remind me that its also the people and not just the cars that make this hobby awesome. Thanks again fellas!
