Here goes.

Should I powdercoat (in black) the entire center section of the rim or stick with the mock up I did with a marker?

I will replace the outer generic grade 8 bolts with ARP black 6 pt or 12 pt bolts.

Could someone Photochop the center section in black and the outer bolts in black for me please.

Billy,

I would go with it blacked out the way you mocked it up but would go a step further by changing those regular looking bolts around the rim to Black anodized bolts and also add black lug nuts and spacers! I think keeping an equal amount of color contrast looks the best.

I say leave them alone Billy. That look great the way they are. Paint the surface rust tho:p. I need to do the same to mine.

Do the whole center like Scott mentioned and something with the hubs.

Powder coat the center but don't paint those bolts! Get a nice 6 or 12 point stainless polished bolt for them. That will make them stick out and make the rim look like nothing else anyone has. That's what I would be all about!

I would go and black out the portion that have the bolt heads showing
Just my opinion, but should look nice anyway you do it.

UPDATE

I sent out my rim centers to Q.C. COATINGS in Michigan. Very good communication and plus the they're racers. I highly recommend them.

I opted to get a satin black powdercoat. The gloss black will need to be maintained couple times a year.

Replaced the generic grade 8 fasteners with black oxide 12 point bolts from ARP.

They came out nice Billy. Not too much. Just right. Better then I would have expected. There is a place in Waterbury that is top notch that Joe uses and will be where I will be bringing my stuff. Didn't need to send em all the way to Michigan.

If u do anything further let me know and I'll send u the link.
