Optima vs conventional battery

Read too many bad stories about OPTIMA about a year ago when I was shopping.

they are holding up well in my duramax.

My duramax ate convetional batteries a lot.

My dad has an Optima red top from the mid 90's that is still kickin.

My yellow top Optima is 9 years old now.

That would be 3 or three convention Sears Die Hard Gold batteries by now.

They sucked in my car in the 90's.

Yellow top in both cars.

Had one bad cell in a red top go bad in another one I bought after 3 years.

Yellow tops work great in my two turbo cars.

LOTS of add on electronic stuff too.

Bad luck with optima. Ac delco here. Never had an issue in 4 years.
