Original Grill Emblem - Question

Hello Guys, Did the original grill emblem stick to the bracket with an adhesive type tape and the part it stuck to, was it plastic? I bought an emblem off ebay advertise as an original but I'm seriously questioning it is an original.

Hey Scott,

Yes the GNX grill emblem was held onto a plastic flat by foam tape. Nice huh?
