An OTC 2000 is very old school tool and will show only two parameters at a time, but I am old school and it is what I use. I purchased one early last year and I’m still learning how to use it. I use it as a live & recording tool on my 87 GN. It can be used to set TPS, IACs, view converter lock-up, 02 CC, 02 volts etc. I attach it to the dash with adhesive Velcro strips when racing and set the mode to knock (displays No or Yes) mode. After recording a ¼ mile pass in road mode all the parameters can be viewed by calling up each mode and viewing the recorded frames. It is a handy tool but cannot compare to Direct Scan and other programs. It would probably be a good idea to monitor exhaust gas temps with an EGT analyzer also. They are not that hard to use if you have a manual. You can view the modes for it at gnttype.org. Just plug it in and turn the key on and tinker with it, you will get the hang of it. If you do not have an owner’s manual they can often be found on E-Bay. Looking at your mod that you have listed I would reccomend new school scanner to protect your investment.
Hope this helps some
