Oxygen sensor in downpipe. Any advantages?

Ok guys, now that you answered my question! I have another quick one. As I said before I later plan on going to WB which would require the sensor be in the DP. But, for now, since I wont be using one, would it be ok to mount a HEATED 02 sensor in the DP as stated before, (with of course watching the higher readings), and be ok? My main reason for this, is that I have an egt gauge to go in. Id rather not weld the little egt hole after the dowpipe (I have a hole for the egt now there). Id rather make that hole bigger, put the 02 sensor in, and put the egt gauge where the stock 02 sensor was using the adapter. I will by the way, have an innovate WB in the DP also which I will tune with. So with a heated, I am assuming with all information given that it would be ok. Secondly where do you recommend mounting the innovate sensor?

you can mount your heated NB 02 anywhere in the exhaust stream....it'll work just fine or you can leave it were it is and mount your egt probe opposite and below the existing 02 (easy to do...just drill a 1/8" hole...this is what most folks do)

that way, you don't even have to waste your $$ on a heated 02 and wiring adaptor

then when you go to a WB 02, just plug the stock 02 location.....a sawed off 02 works well......
