P.Logger ?

I just installed my P. Logger and tapped into the green map wire behind the glove box....My question is will it be accurate enough or should I tie in the grey wire with a black stripe to the solid grey wire of the ecm harness....

The wire read about 1.57 volts key on in park without motor running which should be pretty close...
